"When Was the Last Time You Had a “WOW” Experience?"
The towns of Smyrna and Vinings are located so close to each other in Cobb County that many residents simply call it Smryna-Vinings or “Smynings”. Smyrna-Vinings is a flourishing community just 10 miles northwest of Atlanta, which enables it to be close to the bustling city and yet also allows it to remain both quiet and residential.
Smyrna-Vinings affluent environment is due, in part, to the economic growth in the community, which includes corporate headquarters for Atlanta Bread Company and offices for Eaton Corporation and IBM. In addition, the Home Depot headquarters is located right outside the city limits.
Taking care of the community is so important to Smyrna residents because of the beauty of the vast acreage of parks and recreation that the city holds. There are over 20 parks in the city, ranging from small neighborhood parks to sprawling fields, trails, ballparks, playgrounds and benches. There is also a vibrant youth and adult sport league environment.
One of the great things about the Smyrna/Vinings community is there are great places to shop and eat! The largest of which is Cumberland Mall which recently finished its multi-million dollar renovation that includes a pedestrian friendly streetscape, open air plaza with fountains. Costos, Macys and Sears provide the anchor tenants with many other popular shops and restaurants. The Market Village in the heart of the city of Smyrna, opened in October of 2002 and is unmatched in appeal and village atmosphere. The Market Village is pedestrian oriented with an emphasis on streetscapes, landscaping and openness. It features townhomes over 40,000 square feet of retail space, 18,000 square feet of office space and seven restaurants. Shopping in Vinings is a pleasant experience in itself. The buildings resemble villages, with quaint shops and eclectic restaurants.
So if you are looking to find the best of both worlds – village lifestyle with access to the city lifestyle – then give me a call and I will be happy to give you a real hometown tour.
